CONTINUING EDUCATION, CONFERENCES, AND NETWORKING

Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States (CHAMPS)
CHAMPS hosts a quarterly ZOOM video conferencing call with Region VIII oral health professionals including dentists, hygienists, dental operations staff and others working to support oral health efforts at Region VIII health centers. This meeting provides a place to share best practices, discuss challenges, hear from experts in their field, and identify desired training/technical assistance; call topics and direction are determined by session participants with CHAMPS and State PCA support in implementation. 

Region VIII Oral Health Peer Learning Network
Purpose: 
To facilitate discussion, learning, and collaboration around issues of interest and consequence to oral health professionals at Region VIII health centers.

National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA)
NNOHA Annual Conference
Typically held in October each year, the annual NNOHA Conference addresses a national audience with topics pertinent to all types of oral health staff who work and practice in safety net clinics

NNOHA Listserv
NNOHA’s Listserv promotes networking and learning among Health Center and safety-net dental directors, dentists, dental hygienists and other staff members working to improve access to quality oral health care
