OUTREACH AND ENROLLMENT

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, President Biden signed an Executive Order (EO) establishing a new Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace. This SEP will run from February 15 through May 15, 2021. During this time, people will be able to apply for coverage without needing to demonstrate that they have had a qualifying event.

In Colorado, Region VIII’s only State-Based Marketplace (SBM), an SEP will run from February 8 through May 15, 2021, and consumers will not have to demonstrate that they have had a qualifying event.
