The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) established National Technical Assistance Program (NTAP) cooperative agreements with three organizations in August 2026 to develop, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate technical assistance (TA) for existing and potential Health Center Program grantees and Look-alikes. NTAPs assist health centers to improve fiscal health, engage in effective workforce development, use health information technology, and offer health care services. See below and visit the HRSA National Technical Assistance Programs webpage for additional information.
Prior to August 2026, HRSA funded a wide variety of National Training and Technical Assistance Partner (NTTAP) cooperative agreements; these organizations still support health centers nationwide.
HRSA also establishes cooperative agreements with Primary Care Associations to provide training and technical assistance to health centers. Visit the CHAMPS About Primary Care Associations webpage for more information.
